Family Vacation

Brad had a few days off last weekend and with us moving right around the corner we decided a trip to the beach would be a perfect family vacation. In our 4 years of marriage we have never been on a trip that just included us. It was nice to have it be our little family. We drove straight to Newport beach and checked into our hotel and then off to the beach. At first Carson wasnt too sure about the water. He loves water but the sound of the waves was just a bit much for him. He just wanted to play in the sand. After about 40 minutes of playing Brad and I were hot so we took him back to the water and he LOVED it. He was splashing and playing and having a ball. It was a perfect trip and we all had a blast. A week later Carson keeps asking for the beach and the ocean. (Dont mind us that we are completely pasty white...we have no excuse living in the desert. We are all a little bit more tan now though! ha)
A year ago we made this same trip to the beach Carson is so little!!!
Too busy eating the potato chip to smile.

Playing in the sand
We can never go anywhere with out that stinkin sippy cup.

cutie pie
testing the water.....
He loved when the water would wash away he thought it was the funniest thing. Brad was sure having fun too.

He would say hi waters...hi oceans

Good bye beach it was wonderful! I'm sure we will see you again soon!

Nicole! That is too bad you are moving! It would have been nice to know some people in LV. I am scared out of my mind. I have never been and have no idea what to expect. We are looking at Henderson right now. We need to be about 15 minutes from the mccarrin airport. Do you have an advice!? Email me at staceypackard@gmail.com. Thanks so so much! P.S you vacation looked lovely! I think Carson is the cutest!

Can't say I am not jealous of that weather. Oh how would it be able to go outside for longer than 5 minutes and not be freezing. It does, however, give me a little comfort to know that you will only have it for a few more days. HAHA
